All We’ve Accomplished—He Has Done

We live in a world that praises hustle. We celebrate the grind, the long hours, the late nights, and the early mornings. We post about our progress, track our productivity, and measure our worth by what we get done.

And truthfully?
I have worked hard.
I have pushed through exhaustion.
I’ve shown up when no one knew and stayed late when no one saw.

The hustle was real. The effort was sincere. The grind was noticed — even if only by God. And the world applauds.

And I know you know what I’m talking about — whether your work is in an office or a classroom, in your home caring for little ones, or serving faithfully at church or in your community. The grind looks different for all of us, but it is real for every one of us.

But Isaiah 26:12 offers a holy shift in perspective: All that we have accomplished You have done for us.”

All that we have accomplished You have done for us.”

It doesn’t dismiss our hard work, but it puts it in its rightful place.

Our ideas? Inspired by Him.
Our strength on the days we felt empty? Provided by Him.
Our success? Established by His hand, not ours alone.

When we look back on the things we’ve achieved — the goals reached, the battles won, the meals cooked, the children raised, the ministries served — we’re reminded that grace was the quiet force behind every step. God was working in places we couldn’t see, and arranging details we didn’t know to ask for.

So today, take a breath.
Acknowledge the grind — God sees it.
But give Him the glory — He authored it.

Because the truth is this: Anything good that comes from our hands first flows from His.
