14 Days of Praying for Your Children

14 Days of Praying for Your Children

We all know prayer is important! But praying with intentionality, scripture, and others makes prayer more effective! This is one of the many reasons I love hosting online prayer events, and this event is not one you want to miss!

What: Join us as we pray for our children! Be a part of a group of women, going to God on behalf of children they love with clear focus and purpose for two weeks!  For 14 days a specific prayer topic, scripture, and challenge will be posted in this event on Facebook. Each post is designed to encourage prayer for your children and have you draw nearer to the Lord.

When: The event will last for 14 days! Each day’s post will be shared in the early morning, for you to reference when you can.

Who: You can pray for your own children or children you have an influence over! It does not matter the age of your children, either! Praying for those you help raise never ends, even when they reach adulthood!

Why: Prayer is powerful. If God has given us a tool to help us raise and protect our children, why would we not use it?

If you would like a printable calendar of each day’s prayer topic, scripture, and challenge- you can print it HERE. This is a great tool to hang in your prayer closet, beside your office desk, or on your home refrigerator!

But, still be sure and check each day’s post in the online event, so you can read the short devotion over the day’s topic. The online event also offers encouragement from other women praying as you are, along with other extras that will be exclusive to the online event.

If you haven’t already, join the event on Facebook HERE, and invite a friend to participate!

I will reference the book The Power of a Praying Parent often as this event unfolds. This book by Stormie Omartian gives great insight, topics, advice, and scripture for parents praying for their children! It is a wonderful read I highly recommend!
